On Surrogacy Contracts: NJ Bioethics Commission Report

Following the world famous Baby M decision, rendered by the New Jersey Supreme Court, which inspired the New Jersey Bioethics commission to conduct the most thorough study and analysis of all forms of surrogacy. That study involved public hearings, site visits, and consults with experts over a period of three years. What follows is a 178 page report issued by the Bioethics commission to the New Jersey governor, the NJ legislator, and the NJ Supreme Court. It is considered the most thorough analysis of surrogacy ever done. Harold Cassidy was one of the 24 members of the Bio Ethics Commission who voted to adopt the report.
